LFO High School Tardy to School Policy

*Students who are not in their classroom by 8:15 am (*except for students in college programs or work programs who may start classes later in the day or if the tardy is excused) are tardy to school. Tardies reset each 9 weeks.

  • 1st: Warning
  • 2nd: Warning 
  • 3rd: Parent Contact
  • 4th: One Lunch Detention
  • 5th: Two Lunch Detentions
  • 6th: Two Lunch Detentions
  • 7th: Saturday School
  • 8th+: Administrator Discretion

Students who are chronically tardy may have their driving privilege suspended or revoked. Individual plans to address chronically tardy students may be developed.
